ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Department of Transportation is limiting construction work on interstates and state highways to improve travel during the Labor Day holiday weekend. Work on most construction projects that would impact travel lanes will stop at noon Friday, August 30 and resume at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3. Lane closures on the westbound and eastbound Stan Musial Veterans Memorial bridge will be removed by noon Friday, August 30 and will resume 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Two lanes will close on I-270 southbound at Route 370 for bridge painting on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Two right lanes in the southbound direction will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 3 from 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Two left lanes will close in the southbound direction on Wednesday, Sept. 4 from 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
In the St. Charles County area, Route B between Hodges Club Road and Kampsville Road will be closed beginning Tuesday, Sept 3. at 8 a.m. until early October to replace a box culvert. Drivers can use Route 94, Route 370, Route 70 and Route C as detour routes.
Crews will close up to two westbound lanes on I-70 from 9 a.m. to 6 a.m. from Mid Rivers Mall to Fifth Street for pavement repairs. This work will take place Tuesday, Sept. 2 and Wednesday, Sept. 4.
Route H over the Bourbeuse River in Franklin County will close Sept. 4 to begin bridge rehabilitation, along with pavement and barrier repairs. The route is expected to reopen by late November. Please use Route 50, Route CC, and Route AC as detour routes.

- I-270, St. Louis County, westbound Watson ramp onto I-270 is closed until late October.
- Route 67, St. Louis County, the Dorsett-Midland bridge over Lindbergh is closed until September.
- Route 109, St. Louis County, the left turn lane is closed on the bridge over Route 100 until summer 2020.
- Route 366, St. Louis County, the westbound ramp to westbound I-44 and northbound and southbound I-270 is closed through November.
- Route 370, St. Charles County, one left lane eastbound and westbound closed through fall.
- Route 79, St. Charles County, one lane eastbound and westbound will be closed on Salt River Road over Route 79 until early December.
- Route B, St. Charles County, Route B between Hodges Club Road and Kampsville Road will close at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3 until early October.
- Route 30, Jefferson County, the turn lane between Carol Park and Ottomeyer Road is closed until late September.
