JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City will continue with construction work at the I-435 and I-70 interchange this week beginning on Monday, Aug. 26. This work involves various lane and ramp CLOSURES, as well as a rolling slowdown. It will have impacts to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or consider an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.
- Eastbound I-70 between U.S. Highway 40 and Stadium Dr. will be reduced to ONE LANE for bridge deck work beginning at 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following mornings on Monday, Aug. 26, through Wednesday, Aug. 28
- The left lanes of both northbound and southbound I-435 between Raytown Rd. and U.S. Highway 40 will be CLOSED for paving work beginning at 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following mornings on both Monday, Aug. 26, and Tuesday, Aug. 27.
- The left lane of southbound I-435 between U.S. Highway 40 and Raytown Rd. will be closed again beginning at 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. on both Wednesday, Aug. 28, and Thursday, Aug. 29, for paving operations.
- The exit ramp from southbound I-435 to eastbound I-70 will be CLOSED for bridge girder placement OVERNIGHT on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
