St. Louis Work Zones for August 22-28:

Lucas-Hunt (Route U) lanes, ramps closed at I-70 this weekend

ST. LOUIS – Drivers in North St. Louis County who use the I-70 and Lucas-Hunt interchange should be aware of several lane closures this weekend.

 

Starting at 7 p.m. Friday, August 23, crews will close one northbound and one southbound lane on Lucas-Hunt over the interstate. The lanes will remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday, August 26. In addition, crews will close the ramp from northbound Route U to westbound I-70, and the ramp from southbound Route U to eastbound I-70 between 7 p.m. Friday, August 23 and 9 a.m. Saturday, August 24.

Drivers along southbound Route 141 near I-44 can expect two lanes closed over the Meramec River and BNSF railroad this weekend. This work was postponed last week due to anticipated rain. Crews will close two southbound lanes from 7 p.m. Friday, August 23 until 7 p.m. Saturday, August 24.

This week, several interstate ramps will be closed for short periods:

  • Thursday, August 22, and Friday August 23, the ramp from the Poplar Street Bridge to eastbound I-44 and the ramp from Memorial to westbound I-44 will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • Friday, August 23, the ramp from northbound I-55 to 3200 Broadway will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Friday, August 23, the ramp from eastbound I-70 to Cypress will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Saturday, August 24, the ramp from northbound I-270 to eastbound I-44 will be closed from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

  • I-44, St. Louis City, one westbound lane closed from Jefferson to Grand through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis, two westbound lanes closed from Grand to Macklind through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one eastbound lane closed from Hampton to Grand through December
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Vandeventer to westbound I-44 is closed through December.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, the ramp from eastbound to 14th Street is closed through September.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles through late 2021.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed eastbound between the Meramec River and Geyer until November.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, westbound Watson ramp onto I-270 is closed until late October.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, the Dorsett-Midland bridge over Lindbergh is closed until September.
  • Route 109, St. Louis County, the left turn lane is closed on the bridge over Route 100 until summer 2020.
  • Route 366, St. Louis County, the westbound ramp to westbound I-44 and northbound and southbound I-270 is closed through November.
  • Route 370, St. Charles County, one left lane eastbound and westbound closed through fall.
  • Route 30, Jefferson County, the turn lane between Carol Park and Ottomeyer Road is closed until late September.
