U.S. Route 36 ramp closures planned

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Local crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close the westbound on and off ramps at U.S. Route 36 and U.S. Route 169 (Belt Highway) on Wednesday, Aug. 21 for resurfacing. Crews then plan to complete the eastbound ramps on Thursday, Aug. 22. The ramps will close between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the closure. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
