MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT will be doing the following work in Lewis County. Please see the dates and locations below.
Lewis County Route B - Aug. 12-15 and Aug. 19-22, the road will be closed from Poage Street in LaGrange to 1 mile north of Poage Street for work at the Wyaconda River Bridge. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day.
Lewis County Route F - Aug. 19-21, the road will be closed from Missouri Route 16 to Lewis County Route E for pavement maintenance. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day.
Lewis County Route E - Aug. 22, the road will be reduced to one lane from Missouri Route 81 to Route F for patching operations. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. that day.
Lewis County Route E - Aug. 26, the road will be reduced to one lane from Lewis County Route A to Lewis County Route K for patching operations. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. that day.
Lewis County Route O - Aug. 27-28, the road will be reduced to one lane on Aug. 27 from Lewis County Route V to Missouri Route 6 for patching operations. On Aug. 28, the road will be closed in that same location for sealing work. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day.
U.S. Route 61 West Outer Road - Aug. 29, the road will be reduced to one lane from Lewis County Route B to the gravel road for patching operations. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. that day.
For the closures, motorists will need to use alternate routes. Please use caution and always obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
