JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation has scheduled several lane closures on eastbound and westbound I-435 between State Line Road and the Three Trails Crossing, including an upcoming high-impact closure.

On Friday Aug. 16, crews will CLOSE the inside left lane of eastbound I-435 at 7 p.m. and it will REMAIN CLOSED until Monday Aug. 26. The lane will close at State Line Road to just past Holmes Road. This will move traffic to the three exit lanes only. No express lanes. When complete, traffic will return to a new configuration of four continuous lanes.
To prepare for this 10-day extended lane closure, crews will perform the following work:
Daily, today through Friday Aug. 16, crews will CLOSE the inside left lane on eastbound I-435 from State Line Road to the Blue River Bridge from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. for paving operations.
Overnight Monday, Tuesday AND Wednesday: Crews will close the two inside “express lanes” on eastbound I-435 from State Line Road to the Three Trails Crossing from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for new pavement construction.
