St. Louis Work Zones for August 8-14

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use I-255 to cross into Illinois using the Jefferson Barracks Bridge should plan for extra travel time due to repairs being made on the bridge.

Crews will close two lanes on eastbound I-255 at 5 a.m. Thursday, August 8 and then Monday, August 12 until Thursday, August 15 for joint repairs. One lane will remain open at all times during this closure. Lanes will close at 5 a.m. and reopen by 2 p.m. each day before evening rush.

Drivers may want to avoid traveling northbound Route 141 near the Meramec River and BNSF railroad bridges due to closures from Friday, August 9 at 7 p.m. until 10 a.m. on Sunday, August 1. Up to two lanes will be closed for bridge deck repairs.

Crews will close Kingshighway under I-44 for bridge work on Thursday, August 8 until Saturday, August 10, from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. daily.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis, two westbound lanes closed from Grand to Macklind through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one eastbound lane closed from Hampton to Grand through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Vandeventer to westbound I-44 is closed through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one westbound lane closed from Jefferson to Grand through December.
  • I-64, St. Louis city, the ramp from eastbound to 14th Street is closed August 12 through September.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed northbound between I-270 and Bowles through late 2021.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one eastbound lane closed from west of the Meramec River to Geyer Road until November.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, westbound Watson ramp onto I-270 is closed until late October.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, the Dorsett-Midland bridge over Lindbergh is closed until September.
  • Route 109, St. Louis County, the left turn lane is closed on the bridge over Route 100 until summer 2020.
  • Route 180, St. Louis County, the ramp from Route 180 to 270 that leads to eastbound I-70 is closed through August.
  • Route 366, St. Louis County, the westbound ramp to westbound I-44 and northbound and southbound I-270 is closed through November.
  • Route 370, St. Charles County, one left lane eastbound and westbound at Route 94 closed through fall.
  • Route 30, Jefferson County, turn lane between Carol Park and Ottomeyer Rd closed until late September.
