TRAFFIC ALERT:

Southbound Route 65 Traffic Shift Coming to Farmers Branch Bridge north of Ozark Tonight (Aug. 6)

What: Southbound Route 65 traffic shifting to left side of newly widened Farmers Branch bridge south of Evans Road north of Ozark 

When: After 8 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, August 6) and by 6 a.m. Wednesday, August 7 

Traffic Impacts:

  • Southbound Route 65 traffic will shift from the right to the left to allow crews to begin repairs to the existing Farmers Branch bridge
  • Southbound Route 65 speed limit reduced to 55 mph 

Work is part of larger project to widen Route 65 to six lanes between a point south of Evans Road and Christian County Route CC/J and rehabilitate the Evans Road bridge over Route 65 and the southbound Route 65 bridge at Farmers Branch. 

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule
