JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting surface treatment work at the I-470/Route 291 and I-70 interchange on both Wednesday, Aug. 7, and Thursday, Aug. 8 from 7 p.m. each evening until 5 a.m. the following mornings. All work is weather permitting and will have significant impacts to overnight traffic in the area.
Wednesday, Aug. 7
- The ramp from eastbound I-70 to southbound I-470 will be CLOSED.
- The southbound I-470 loop ramp to eastbound I-70 will be CLOSED.
Thursday, Aug. 8

This work will impact overnight motorists. Motorists must find alternate routes during this time.
