JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting pavement work at the I-470/Route 291 and I-70 interchange on Wednesday, Aug. 7 Thursday, Aug. 8. The work will take place beginning at 7 p.m. and last until approximately 5 a.m. the following morning. All work is weather permitting and involves SIGNIFICANT ramp closures including:
- The ramp from eastbound I-70 to southbound I-470 will be CLOSED.
- The southbound I-470 loop ramp to eastbound I-70 will be CLOSED.
This work will impact overnight motorists. Motorists must find alternate routes during this time.
