Guardrail Work Starts TODAY at 9 a.m. along Westbound I-470

JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will be doing guardrail work along westbound I-470 under the Pryor Rd. bridge and along the eastbound U.S. Highway 50 on ramp to westbound I-470. The work will begin TODAY, Monday, July 29 at 9 a.m. and end at approximately 3 p.m. this afternoon. All work is weather permitting and includes the following:

  • Crews will CLOSE the right lane of westbound I-470 near the guardrail work.
  • Crews will also have a shoulder closure along the eastbound U.S. 50 on ramp to westbound I-470.
  • During rush hour, crews will remove the right lane closure along westbound I-470.
