Pavement repair will close one eastbound lane of Interstate 44 between mile marker 134 and mile marker 145 in Laclede County. The closure will take place from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. each day from Tuesday, Jan. 10 through Friday, Jan. 20. The work could be completed earlier, if weather conditions allow.
Message boards and signs are placed before the work zones to warn motorists of the lane closures.
This work is taking place to prepare for resurfacing, which is expected to begin in July.
