The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of January 9-20, 2017. Scheduled maintenance and construction activities will not take place Monday, January 16, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Junior holiday. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Daylight Hours Striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continues in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Daylight Hours
Route 63 between Route 763 and Route WW – Pavement repair and resurfacing in the northbound and southbound lanes.
* Striping in the northbound and southbound lanes at the Route WW and Route AC interchanges is scheduled for the week of January 9. One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 124 over Reader Creek, west of Proctor Road – Culvert maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 10 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Business Loop 70 between Illinois Avenue and Route 163 (Providence Road) – Culvert pipe replacement in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues. One eastbound and westbound lane is open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late January.
Callaway County

Route 54 over Richland Creek in Fulton - Bridge inspection in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place on Tuesday, January 10. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 54 over Auxvasse Creek, east of Kingdom City - Bridge inspection in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place on Wednesday, January 11. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 63 over Cedar Creek, north of Jefferson City - Bridge inspection in the northbound and southbound lanes will take place on Tuesday, January 17. One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route D between Route 94 and Route YY - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route J between Route F and Route WW - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County

Cole County
Daylight/Overnight Hours Business Route 50 (Missouri Boulevard) between Route 50 and Virginia Street - Sidewalk and pedestrian improvements continue.
Scheduled Work Highlights During the Week of January 9:
- Curb, gutter, sidewalk, paved approaches, and island work is scheduled on both the south and north side of Missouri Boulevard between Delaware Street and Whitton Expressway.
- Electrical work will take place at the intersection of Missouri Boulevard and Whitton Expressway.
- There will be periodic lane closures in the eastbound and westbound driving lanes of Missouri Boulevard near Delaware Street from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Crawford County

Route J over Interstate 44 - Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 44 North Outer Road (Frontage Road) between Route H and the Franklin County line – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations continues. The road will be closed between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-January.
Gasconade County

Route H between Route 19 and Route E – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Howard County

Route 87 between Route E and Route AA – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 10 through Friday, January 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 87 between Route 5 and Route Z – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, January 16 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 124 between County Road 109 and County Road 409 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Monday, January 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route K between Route 87 and County Road 317 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Laclede County

Interstate 44 between mile marker 134 and mile marker 145 – Pavement repair in the eastbound lanes will take place Tuesday, January 10 through Friday, January 20. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 5 between Sixth Street and Vance Street – Sidewalk and signal improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible through the work area.
Route W between Route A and Business Loop 44 – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route JJ between Route F and Route T – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County

Route NN between Route 68 and Benton Creek Road in Crawford County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Pulaski County
Daylight/Overnight Hours Route 17 between Route H and Route T – Pavement improvements and grading continue.
* Traffic has been shifted to the bypass. Route T traffic has been shifted to the temporary bypass west of the existing Route T.

Route 185 between Route 8 and the Franklin County line – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 185, south of Fourche Renault Road - Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
