St. Louis Work Zones for January 12-18

ST. LOUIS – Motorists should avoid travel, if possible, throughout the state starting late Thursday night through Sunday due to incoming significant amounts of freezing rain, sleet and ice. Friday morning rush hour commutes will be impacted by the freezing rain across most of Missouri.

MoDOT crews will be out ahead of the storm using a mixture of chemicals and abrasives to treat the roads. If you must travel, leave plenty of space between you and other vehicles and please give snow plows room to work.

For additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions, go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com. All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis County, the connection from the north outer road to northbound Route 141 will be closed until summer 2017. Drivers can detour by using the new roundabout, the south outer road and Maritz Drive.
