The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of January 16-27, 2017. Scheduled maintenance and construction activities will not take place Monday, January 16, in observance of the Martin Luther King holiday. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

All Counties Daylight Hours Striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 63 between Route 763 and Route WW – Pavement repair and resurfacing in the northbound and southbound lanes continues.
* Striping of Route 63 and Route WW interchange is scheduled for the week of January 15. Guardrail work will also take place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. At least one lane of traffic will be open through the work area.
Business Loop 70 between Illinois Avenue and Route 163 (Providence Road) – Sidewalk replacement and the installation of guardrails continues. All lanes of traffic should be open by late next week. The project is scheduled for completion in late January.
Callaway County
Daylight Hours
Route 63 over Cedar Creek, north of Jefferson City - Bridge inspection in the northbound and southbound lanes will take place on Tuesday, January 17. One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route J between Route F and Route WW - Roadside maintenance will take place Thursday, January 19. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County

Route BB between Route 7 and Route H in Laclede County - Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cole County
Daylight/Overnight Hours Business Route 50 (Missouri Boulevard) between Route 50 and Virginia Street - Sidewalk and pedestrian improvements continue.
Scheduled Work Highlights During the Week of January 16:
- Curb, gutter, sidewalk, paved approaches, and island work is scheduled on both the south and north side of Missouri Boulevard between Delaware Street and the Whitton Expressway.
- Electrical work will take place at the intersection of Missouri Boulevard and the Whitton Expressway.
- There will be periodic lane closures in the eastbound and westbound driving lanes of Missouri Boulevard near Delaware Street from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Crawford County
Daylight Hours
Route J over Interstate 44 - Bridge maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 44 North Outer Road (Frontage Road) between Route H and the Franklin County line – Culvert pipe replacement is completed. Some work remains. Minimal traffic impacts are expected.
Gasconade County

Route H between Route 19 and Route E – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 87 between Route E and Route AA – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 87 between Route 5 and Route Z – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route B between County Road 1000 and Route U in Gasconade County – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route NN between Route 68 and Benton Creek Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Laclede County
Daylight Hours
Interstate 44 between mile marker 134 and mile marker 145 – Pavement repair in the eastbound lanes will take place Monday, January 16 through Friday, January 27. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 5 between Sixth Street and Vance Street – Sidewalk and signal improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible through the work area.
Route O between Route 5 and Route 95 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, January 23 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route W between Route A and Business Loop 44 – Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route JJ between Route F and Route T – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Maries County

Route 52 over Route 54 - Bridge maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route M between Route 54 and Saline Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, January 23 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route FF between Route 54 and Route A in Cole County – Roadside maintenance will take place Thursday, January 19 through Tuesday, January 24. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route MM between Route 54 and Devonshire Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday 17, January through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Moniteau County

Route D between Route O and Route U – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route CC between County Road 411 and Country Road 415 - Culvert pipe replacement continues. The road will be closed between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Morgan County

Route O between Route 5 and Buck Creek Road – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route BB between Route 135 and Route N – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route NN between Route 135 and Juniper Lane – Roadside maintenance will take place Wednesday, January 18. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Osage County

Route 100 between Route 50 and Route 89 – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Phelps County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 44 between Route 63 and Route F in Crawford County – Roadway resurfacing in the eastbound lanes continues.
* Cleanup and punch list work is scheduled for the week of January 16. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Pulaski County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 17 between Route H and Route T – Pavement improvements and grading continue.
* Contractor plans to switch traffic to the final roundabout configuration and work on curb, gutter, concrete islands, striping and roadway lighting, weather permitting.
Washington County
Daylight Hours
Route 185 between Route 8 and the Franklin County line – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route E between Route 47 and Route CC – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, January 17 through Friday, January 20. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
