MoDOT Holding Online Public Briefing for Osage County Bridge Rehabilitation

OSAGE COUNTY, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding an online public briefing to share information about an upcoming project that will rehabilitate the Osage County Route T bridge over the Maries River, located approximately two miles southwest of U.S. Route 63.

Information about the project is available at www.MoDOT.org/Central/OsageRouteTBridge.htm.

The Route T bridge was built in 1966 and is 26 feet wide. The deck has deteriorated and is in need of replacement.

Rehabilitation of the bridge is scheduled to take place between April and October. Route T will be closed during the work for no more than 85 calendar days. Motorists will be encouraged to use the signed detour route during the work. This alternate route can be found on the project page listed above.

An online comment form is also available on the project website for anyone who would like to provide feedback. The public comment period runs through Monday, Jan. 30.
