JACKSON COUNTY – Guardrail work will cause a series of ramp and lane closures along I-35 near downtown Kansas City. All work is weather dependent.
Listed below are the locations of closures and times:
- The ramp will close from SW Trafficway to northbound I-35 from 7:30p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 through 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31.
- The right lane will close on northbound I-35 between Jarboe St. and West 25th St. from 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30 through 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31.
- The left lane on northbound I-35 between Jarboe St. and West 25th St. from 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1.
- The ramp will close from southbound I-35 to Broadway from 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb 1 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Feb 2.
- The ramp from southbound I-35 to SW Trafficway from 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 through 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
