The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded contracts to repair bridges in Callaway, Cooper, Crawford, Gasconade and Miller counties.
The work will take place in the following locations:
- Callaway County – Bridge deck replacements on Route O over Crows Fork Creek and Route UU over Crows Fork Creek, both east of Fulton. The contract was awarded to Widel, Inc., for $649,777.
- Cooper County – Bridge deck replacement on Route B over Petite Saline Creek, south of Boonville. The contract was awarded to Widel, Inc., for $506,275.
- Crawford County – Bridge replacements on Route 19 over Crooked Creek southwest of Cherryville, and Route M over Crooked Creek southwest of Steelville. The contract was awarded to Lehman Construction, LLC, for $1,925,513.
- Gasconade County – Bridge rehabilitation on Route 50 over the Gasconade River, west of Mount Sterling. The contract was awarded to Lehman Construction, LLC, for $399,544.
- Miller County – Bridge rehabilitation on Route 52 over Route 54 in Eldon. The contract was awarded to Widel, Inc., for $1,184,003.
Work on the bridges is scheduled to take place during the 2017 construction season and will require each road to be closed.
