MoDOT to relocate commuter lot at I-44, Route 141 late this week

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use the commuter lot on Interstate 44 at Route 141 should be prepared to drive a little further east after the Missouri Department of Transportation relocates the lot.

The lot moves from the west side of Route 141 to the east side, off the north outer roadway. The relocation was needed as part of on-going construction for a new flyover ramp and a more robust outer road system being constructed as part of the Route 141 Design Build project.

Crews will open the new lot on the east side of Route 141 on Friday, February 17, and will permanently close the commuter lot on the west side of Route 141 on Monday, February 20.

During on-going construction, drivers traveling in either direction on I-44 or Route 141 can use South Highway Drive, Maritz, North Highway Drive, the roundabout and the north outer road to get to the new commuter lot. Drivers on southbound Route 141 can take the existing ramp to the north outer road and turn right to get to the new commuter lot until crews close the ramp in March as part of ongoing construction.
