ROCK PORT, Mo – U.S. Hwy 136 is closed west of Rock Port due to a structure fire. The Missouri Department of Transportation, working with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, closed U.S. Hwy 136 earlier this morning. Local emergency responders are fighting a fire near the roadway. Thick, black smoke is causing visibility issues and the road is closed to all traffic until further notice. Motorists need to use an alternate route.
