The Cedar Creek bridge on Missouri Route 32 in Washington County is set for replacement this summer under a contract approved today by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission. The commission awarded the contract to Phillips Hardy, Inc., after the company submitted the lowest bid of $1,129,491.
The current bridge, located approximately two miles east of Caledonia, was originally constructed in 1934. The new bridge will be four feet wider when work is complete by the fall. Work on the bridge will require the road to be closed.
