PLATTE COUNTY – Motorists should prepare for possible delays as crews begin pavement repair work along northbound and southbound I-29 between I-435 and Route 273 beginning Wednesday, March 15 and continuing through May 26. Work will cause intermittent lane closures. All work will be during the nighttime hours of 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
