Bridge Replacement Planned for the Hippo Creek Bridge in Ralls County on Route P

HANNIBAL - Beginning on Monday, March 27th, Route P in Ralls County will be closed at Hippo Creek, located 3 miles south of Route 19 in Center. The road will be closed for up to 75 days while MoDOT and its contractor replace the existing one-lane bridge. The new bridge will be 24 feet wide and allow two lanes of traffic.

Road closure signs are in place notifying motorists of the work. Motorists will need to use alternate routes during this time. Boone Construction of Columbia, Missouri was awarded the contract at ­­­$567,943.65.
