Traffic Alert: Multiple Ramp and Lane Closures along I-35 Beginning March 17

JACKSON COUNTY – There will be multiple ramp and lane closures along Interstate 35 beginning March 17 at 7:30 p.m. through 4:30 p.m. the following day according to the Missouri Department of Transportation. These closures are for roadway pavement repair work, roadside improvement, and guardrail work. All work is weather permitting and is not anticipated to remain the entire length of time noted.

  • Ramp Closure on Broadway to WB I-70
  • Ramp Closure on WB I-70 to SB I-35
  • Ramp Closure on 5th Street to SB I-35
  • Ramp Closure on EB I-70 to SB I-35
  • Ramp Closure on 12th Street to SB I-35
  • Ramp Closure on 13th Street to SB I-35
  • Ramp Closure on Genessee Street to EB 670
  • Ramp Closure on EB 670 to SB I-35
  • Ramp Closure on SB I-35 to 20th Street
  • Double Right Lane Closures on WB I-70 around Broadway
  • Single Right Lane Closure on EB I-70 around the SB I-35 Exit
  • Single Right Lane Closure on EB 670 around the SB I-35 Exit
  • Double Right Lane Closure on SB I-35 south of I-670

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
