Left Turns Eliminated at Route 171 & Ball Street

In Webb City in Late March or Early April

Webb City – Left turns will be eliminated at Missouri Route 171 (McArthur Drive) and Ball Street when crews close the median in late March or early April, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

The median is being closed for safety reasons in cooperation with Webb City.

The left lane of Route 171 will be closed in both directions at Ball Street during the work.

Drivers will have access to areas north and south of Route 171 by using Oronogo Street (one block west of Ball Street) where drivers can safely make left turns at the traffic signal.

After the project is completed, pedestrians will still be allowed to cross Route 171 at Ball Street.

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
