CLAY COUNTY – Beginning March 20, the ramps at the I-435 and Route 210 interchange will be reduced to one lane to allow construction work. This restriction WILL impact traffic and travel times. Anticipate delays and adjust accordingly. The ramps will remain restricted through May. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists will also encounter intermittent lane closures along Route 210 and Great Midwest Drive remains closed. Travelers are encouraged to watch for signs indicating these closures or consider using alternate routes. This work is part of the larger Route 210 Interchange project which will recreate this very busy industrial interchange into a Diverging Diamond. Learn more about this project on our website.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
