CLAY COUNTY – Crews will close various lanes of northbound and southbound Route 1 between Route 152 and Northeast 64th St. from 8 p.m. Friday, March 24 and continuing through noon Sunday, March 26 for full depth pavement repair work.
Crews will begin work in the inside lanes of northbound and southbound Route 1, then switching traffic, allowing one lane of traffic in both directions to be open at all times. This will be a 24 hour operation. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
