JACKSON COUNTY– The Missouri Department of Transportation will close multiple lanes and ramps along I-35 beginning March 27 for guardrail and roadside improvement work. All work is weather dependent and the ramp closures may be accompanied by lane closures.
Right Lane Closure from 27th St. to Jarboe St. on southbound I-35 on Monday, March 27th, through the following morning, from 7:30 pm to 6:00 a.m.
Right Lane Closure from Jarboe St. to W. 25th St. on northbound I-35 on Monday, March 27th, through the following morning, from 7:30 pm to 6:00 a.m.
Left Lane Closure from Cambridge Circle to W. 25th St. to on northbound I-35 on Tuesday, March 28th, through the following morning, from 7:30 pm to 6:00 a.m.
Ramp Closure from Summit St. to northbound I-35 on Wednesday, March 29th, through the following morning, from 7:30 pm to 6:00 a.m.
Ramp Closure from Broadway to northbound I-35 on Wednesday, March 29th, through the following morning, from 7:30 pm to 6:00 a.m.
Ramp Closure from northbound I-35 to Broadway on Thursday, March 30th, through the following morning, from 7:30 pm to 6:00 a.m.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
