Road Work for Mid-Missouri

March 27 - April 7, 2017

The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of March 27 – April 7, 2017. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

All Counties
Daylight Hours
Striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations.  Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.


Boone County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between the Missouri River Bridge and St. Charles Road – Pavement repair, guardrail repair and resurfacing in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues. One eastbound lane and one westbound will be open through the work area. The work is scheduled for completion in spring 2018.

Daylight Hours
Route 124 between Route 63 and Route E – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 163 over Hinkson Creek south Mick Deaver Drive – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route Z between Interstate 70 and Business Route 124 – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, April 3 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route HH over Hinkson Creek, west of Deer Valley Lane – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route UU over Crows Fork Creek, east of County Road 101 – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-April.

Daylight Hours
Route F at County Road 229 – Roadside maintenance will take place on Monday, March 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route M at County Road 240 – Roadside maintenance will take place on Tuesday, March 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route O between Route C and Route CC – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route UU between Route O and County Road 101 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Wednesday, April 5 and Thursday, April 6. The road will be closed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.

Route UU between Route JJ and County Road 113 – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Wednesday, April 5 and Thursday, April 6. The road will be closed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.


Camden County
Daylight Hours
Route 54 between the Niangua River Bridge and Route BB in Hickory County – Resurfacing and widening to a shared four-lane roadway will begin on Monday, March 27. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late May.

Route 54 between Route 7 and Cecil Street – Pedestrian improvements are underway. Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.

Route 54 between Route A and Route V – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday, March 29. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route H between Route 7 and Route BB in Laclede County – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Cole County

Route 50/63 between Shamrock Road and the Osage River Bridge – Roadway maintenance in the eastbound/southbound lanes and the westbound/northbound lanes will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane in each direction will be open through the work area.


Cooper County

Route D between Route 87 and Route O in Moniteau County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Crawford County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 19 over Crooked Creek, south of Edgar Road – Bridge replacement will begin on Monday, March 27. The road will be closed during the work. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in early June.

Overnight Hours
Interstate 44 between Route H and the Phelps County Line – Pavement improvements in the eastbound lanes will take place Monday, March 27 through Friday, April 7. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.

Daylight Hours
Route 8 between Route 19 and the Washington County line – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 19 between Route O and Route P – Pavement marking will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route H between Route MM and Cave Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Dent County

Route 19 between Route 32 and Route A Shannon County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Gasconade County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 19 over Second Creek, south of Brakemeyer Road – Bridge replacement is underway. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-May.

Daylight Hours
Route 50 over the Gasconade River, east of the Osage County line – Bridge maintenance continues. Most of the work will take place under the bridge, with minimal traffic impacts expected. The project is scheduled for completion in April.

Route N between Route 100 and Route J Osage County – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route T between Route 50 and Hollandsworth Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Howard County
Daylight Hours
Route 5 between Clay Street and Water Street in Glasgow – Roadway maintenance will take place on Tuesday, March 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Route 87 between Route 40 and Route J – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Laclede County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 44 between Route 133 and Route F – Pavement repair in the eastbound lanes will take place Monday, March 27 through Friday, April 7. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.

Daylight Hours
Route 5 between Sixth Street and Vance Street – Sidewalk and signal improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible through the work area.

Route B over Osage Fork, south of Creek Road – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route N between Grindstone Road and Spring Drive – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Friday, March 31. The road will be closed between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.

Route O between Route 5 and Route B – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday, March 28 and Wednesday, March 29. The road will be closed between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.

Route W between Route A and Business Loop 44 – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Tuesday, April 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route OO between Route 32 and Route 64A – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route JJ between Rockridge Lane and the Camden County line – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Wednesday, March 29 and Thursday, March 30. The road will be closed between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.

Route OO between Easton Road and Flatwoods Church Road – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28. The road will be closed between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.


Maries County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 42 over the Little Maries River, east of Route 133 – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late May.

Route T between Route 42 and Route AA in Osage County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Miller County
Daylight Hours
Route 42 between Route 17 and Route C – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route 52 at Twiggy lane- Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, April 4 through Thursday, April 6. This will be a moving operation with occasional lane closures.

Route 54 at Cave Drive - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, April 3 through Wednesday, April 5. This will be a moving operation with occasional lane closures.


Moniteau County

Route O between Route 87 and Route J in Cooper County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Morgan County

Route O between Route 5 and Dunwandrin Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route AA between Route 52 and First Street in Barnett – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Monday, March 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Osage County

Route 100 between Route 89 and Chamois Power Plant Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Phelps County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route V between Interstate 44 and Hypoint Boulevard - Pavement improvements and grading continue.
       * Pavement removal and replacement, along with guardrail installation are scheduled for the week of March 27. Occasional lane closures are likely through the work area.

Route D over the Gasconade River, east of Interstate 44 – Bridge inspection will take place on Monday, April 3. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route P between Route J and Route T – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route CC between Route 63 and County Road 7140 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Pulaski County

Interstate 44 over Hooker Creek, west of Trophy Lane – Bridge inspection in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place on Tuesday, April 4. One lane will be open through the work area.

Interstate 44 over the Roubidoux River, west of Superior Road – Bridge inspection in the eastbound lanes will take place on Wednesday, April 5. One lane will be open through the work area.

Route 133 between Route C and Route BB in Maries County – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Tuesday, March 28. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Route T between Route 17 and Route 133 – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, March 27 through Thursday, March 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.


Washington County
