Road Work Planned for Route CC

BETHANY, Mo. – Surface improvements are coming soon to Route CC in Harrison and Grundy counties. Contractors from Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to overlay Route CC beginning at the south end at Route 146 in Grundy County on Monday, May 1. They will close the road in two mile segments beginning at approximately 7 a.m. As they complete each two mile segment, they will reopen it and move north. The project will continue to U.S. Route 136. This overlay will take several days and should be completed on or before May 8, 2017, weather permitting. Crews will continue with signing and striping the route that week with all work scheduled to be completed on or before May 12, 2017.

If weather conditions and other mitigating factors allow, this project may be accelerated and begin sooner than May 1.

Schedules are subject to change. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
