Routine Maintenance Will Temporarily Close the Champ Clark Bridge for One Night

HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, the Champ Clark Bridge on U.S. Route 54 over the Mississippi River in Louisiana will be closed overnight between Monday and Tuesday, April 10 and 11.   The bridge will close Monday, April 10, at midnight, and open to traffic on Tuesday, April 11, at 6:00 a.m., MoDOT crews will have the Champ Clark Bridge located on U.S. 54 in Louisiana temporarily closed for routine maintenance.

Motorists will need to use alternate routes during this time. Message boards will be placed in advance on either side of the bridge to alert drivers.
