Motorists who travel the eastbound Missouri River Bridge in Jefferson City are reminded of some upcoming lane closures on the bridge.
Missouri Department of Transportation crews on April 10 will replace the bridge’s current streetlights with more energy efficient LED beams. The moving operation will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will close first the right lane and then the left lane on the bridge. The Main Street ramp will also be closed during the work. All work is weather permitting.
LED lights were placed on the westbound Missouri River Bridge when it was closed for repainting last year.
The bridges carry Route 54/63 over the Missouri River.
