ST. LOUIS – Drivers on I-44 through Eureka and Valley Park should be aware of construction that may have an impact on traffic, especially overnight on weeknights.

The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor N.B. West have started work on a resurfacing project on the section of I-44 between Route 141 and Route 109.

For the next month, during the day, drivers can expect:

  • One lane closed westbound between Route 141 and Route 109 weekdays between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

At night, drivers can expect up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound on I-44 between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning for roadway repair and resurfacing.
