JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be closing multiple ramps along Interstates 35, 670, and 70 beginning April 17, at 7:30 p.m. The ramp closures may be accompanied by lane closures. These closures are part of a partial depth pavement repair project. All work is weather permitting.
Ramp closure on westbound I-70 to southbound I-35 beginning Monday, April 17, from 7:30 p.m. through the following morning at 6 a.m.
- Ramp closure on U.S. 169 to southbound I-35 beginning Monday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. through the following morning at 6 a.m.
- Ramp closure on southbound I-35 to 12th Street on both Monday, April 17, and Tuesday, April 18, from 7:30 p.m. through the following mornings at 6 a.m.
- Ramp closure on 12th Street to southbound I-35 on both Monday, April 17, and Tuesday, April 18, from 7:30 p.m. through the following mornings at 6 a.m.
- Ramp closure on eastbound I-670 to southbound I-35 beginning Tuesday, April 18, from 7:30 p.m. through the following morning at 6 a.m.
- Ramp closure on northbound I-35 to 12th Street on both Wednesday, April 19, and Thursday, April 20, beginning at 7:30 p.m. through the following mornings at 6 a.m.
- Ramp closure on 12th Street to northbound I-35 Street on both Wednesday, April 19, and Thursday, April 20, beginning at 7:30 p.m. through the following mornings at 6 a.m.
- Ramp closure on northbound I-35 to 14th Street beginning Thursday, April 20, at 7:30 p.m. through the following morning at 6 a.m.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
