The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of April 24 – May 5, 2017. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between the Missouri River Bridge and St. Charles Road – Crews will perform pavement repair work in the eastbound and westbound lanes between Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) and Route 63 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the week of April 24. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2018.
Route 63 at Interstate 70 – Pavement repair and resurfacing continues.
* Crews will install pavement marking on the Route 63 Connector from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the week of April 24. One lane will be open through the work area.
Daylight Hours
Route B between McGee Road and Oakland Church Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 1 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route HH between Route B and Route Z – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Callaway County
Daylight Hours
Route 54 over the Missouri River in Jefferson City – Bridge inspection in the eastbound lanes will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route D between Interstate 70 and Route 94 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route UU over Crows Fork Creek, east of County Road 101 – Bridge deck replacement is complete. The bridge was opened to traffic on April 15. Occasional daytime lane closures are possible the week of April 24 due to grading operations.
Route UU between Route O and Route JJ – Roadway maintenance will take place on Monday, May 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 54 Outer Road (Karen Street) between Route AA and Center Street – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County
Overnight Hours
Route 54 between Route 7 and Cecil Street – Pedestrian improvements continue. Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.
Daylight Hours
Route 5 between Route F and Route O in Morgan County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 54 between the Niangua River Bridge and Route BB in Hickory County – Resurfacing and widening to a shared four-lane roadway continues. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late May.
Route 54 between Osage Beach Parkway and Route 17 in Cole County – Bridge maintenance in various locations in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route H between Route T and Route BB in Laclede County – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cole County
Daylight Hours
Route 50/63 between Shamrock Road and the Osage River Bridge – Roadway resurfacing and intersection improvements are underway.
* The closure of Shamrock Road and Liberty Road on the south side of Route 50 and the closure of the median crossover at this intersection are scheduled to begin on Monday, May 1. For Shamrock Road and Liberty Road traffic south of Route 50, access to Route 50 will be via Route M and the Route 50 and Route M interchange. Eastbound Route 50 traffic will access Shamrock Road on the north side of Route 50 by following eastbound Route 50 to the Militia Drive interchange and then taking westbound Route 50 to Shamrock Road.
The intersection is scheduled to be open to traffic by June 1. The entire project is scheduled for completion in July.
Route 179 between Route 54 and Route 98 in Cooper County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route C between Route 54 and Route 52 in Morgan County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cooper County
Daylight Hours
Route B over the Petite Saline Creek, south of Interstate 70 - Bridge deck replacement is underway. The bridge is closed during the work. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.

Route D between Route 87 and Route O in Moniteau County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Crawford County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 19 over Crooked Creek, south of Edgar Road – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed during the work. Motorists are advised to use signed detour routes around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in early June.

Route 8 between Route 19 and Route AA in Washington County – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 8 between Route 19 and the Washington County line – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 19 between Route O and Route P – Pavement marking will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route C between Interstate 44 and Route 19 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route N between Interstate 44 and Route 185 in Washington County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Gasconade County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 19 over Second Creek, south of Brakemeyer Road – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-May.

Route N between Route 100 and Route J in Osage County – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route T between Route 50 and Hollandsworth Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Howard County

Route 124 between Route 240 and Route Y – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.

Laclede County
Daylight Hours
Route F over Interstate 44 – Bridge girder maintenance will begin on Monday, April 24. The work will close one westbound lane of I-44 at the overpass. The work is scheduled for completion in early May.
Route 5 between Sixth Street and Vance Street – Sidewalk and signal improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible through the work area.
Route B over Osage Fork, south of Creek Road – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 44 North Outer Road between Route F and Starling Drive – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 and Tuesday, April 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 44 North Outer Road between Route T and the end of state maintenance – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 1 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Maries County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 42 over the Little Maries River, east of Route 133 – Bridge deck replacement is complete. The bridge was opened to traffic on April 18. Occasional daytime lane closures are possible the week of April 24.
Route 68 over Coppedge Creek, east of Route H – Bridge deck rehabilitation is underway. One lane is open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in early June.
Route Z between Route 28 and County Road 316 – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Wednesday, April 26. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route DD between Route 133 and County Road 631 – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 1 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County
Daylight Hours
Route 52 over Route 54 – Bridge rehabilitation continues.
* Westbound traffic will be detoured around the work area. Crews will flag eastbound traffic through the work area.
* Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures on Route 54 are possible during the work. The eastbound and westbound entrance and exit ramps will remain open. The project is scheduled for completion in September.
Route 52 at the Route 54 Outer Road – Culvert pipe maintenance will take place Wednesday, April 26 and Thursday, April 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route FF between Route 54 and Route A in Cole County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, May 1 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route MM between Route 54 and Devonshire Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, May 1 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Moniteau County

Route 52 between Route 5 and Route Y in Miller County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder work continues. One lane will be open, and flagging crews and a pilot car will guide traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in July.
Route D between Route 50 and Route 52 – Roadway maintenance will take place on Thursday, April 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route T between Route 52 and Possum Trot Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 and Tuesday, April 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Osage County
Daylight Hours
Route 100 between Route C and County Road 319 – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, May 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Phelps County
Overnight Hours Interstate 44 between Route 63 and Route F in Crawford County – Roadway resurfacing in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues.
* Repairs in the eastbound lanes will take place the week of April 24. One lane will be open through the work area.
Daylight/Overnight Hours Route V between Interstate 44 and Hypoint Boulevard - Pavement improvements and grading continue.
* Cleanup work is scheduled for the week of April 24. Occasional lane closures are likely through the work area.
Pulaski County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 7 over the Gasconade River, north of Rustler Lane – Bridge deck replacement will begin on Monday, April 24. The road will be closed during the work. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-July.
Washington County

Route Y between Route 185 and Route A – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, April 24 through Thursday, April 27. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
