MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing work on the following routes in Macon County. Please see the dates and locations below.
Route J - May 1, road closed from Route RA to Island Avenue for bridge work at the Chariton River. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route J - May 2, road closed from Route O to MO 3 for bridge work at the Chariton River. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
U.S. 63 - May 3, one lane traffic between Route D and MO 156 for work at the railroad bridge near LaPlata. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route O - May 4, road closed from Route OO to Holly Avenue for culvert replacement. Work willl completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
North Macon St. (loop up by Rick's Service) - May 8, one lane traffic in the loop that goes up to Rick's Service in Bevier for sealing operations. Work willl completed between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route PP - May 9, road closed from Lacquer Avenue to Lexington Place for a culvert replacement. Work wll be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
MO 129 - May 11, one lane traffic from Birch Street to U.S. 36 for pavement work. Work will be completed between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Motorists will need to use alternate routes on the roads that will be closed. As always, please remember to use caution and obey all work zone signs and personnel.
