US 60 west of Rogersville - lanes restricted due to flooding

Rogersville, MO – The storm system impacting the state has closed or restricted access to over 150 roads statewide. US 60 is a major corridor for east-west traffic, and due to water encroaching the roadway MoDOT has had to restrict the lanes between Farm Road 219 and Farm Road 213. With the continued precipitation, it is expected that traffic will move to a head-to-head configuration in the EB lanes only (with one lane of travel in each direction) overnight. This configuration will begin at Farm Road 219, and cross back over to the normal traffic pattern at Harmony Road.

We urge caution in the area, and for drivers to find alternative routes, if possible. For the latest information on road conditions and closures on state-maintained roads, please visit MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
