HANNIBAL - U.S. 61 north of Troy has reopened after being closed for 20 hours due to flash flooding and potential scour issues on the piers. "We have inspected the piers after the water receded and have found no serious safety issues," said MoDOT Assistant Maintenance and Traffice Engineer Brian Untiedt.
"We appreciate the patience of motorists as we continue to deal with flooding throughout Missouri," he added.
