RAY COUNTY – Crews for the Missouri Department of Transportation will close a series of northbound and southbound lanes of Route C for culvert replacement work. Some of the work was originally scheduled for the May 3 and 4, but was canceled due to rain. All work is weather dependent.

Route C between 112th St. and 124th St. from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 9 and 10
Route C between 124th St. and 122nd St. from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 10
Route C between 130th St, and Orr Rd. from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 11
Route C between 130th St. and Orr Rd. from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 15 through May 18
Route C between 136th St. and 140th St. from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, May 22
Route C between 140th St. and 3rd St. in Rayville from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 23
Route C between 3rd St. and Highway U from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 24
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
