Route W to Close

MARTINSTOWN, Mo – Routine maintenance will require the closure of a portion of Route W next week. Route W will close between Route 149 and 427th Road at approximately 8 a.m. Monday, May 22. That section of road will remain closed around the clock through the afternoon of Thursday, May 25. Local maintenance crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will work on the bridge over Wild Cat Creek to make necessary deck repairs ahead of an overlay project planned for Route W later in the construction season. During this closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone can Arrive Alive.
