Traffic Alert: Right Lane Closures Scheduled for I-49 between Route 150 and 163rd Street Beginning May 19
JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have right lane closures along northbound and southbound Interstate 49 between Route 150 and 163rd Street beginning Friday, May 19, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. These lane closures are for bridgework and all work is weather permitting.
- Southbound I-49 will have a right lane closure from Route 150 to 163rd Street on Friday, May 19, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Northbound I-49 will have a right lane closure from 163rd Street to Route 150 on Friday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
