The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of May 22-June 2, 2017. Scheduled lane closures will not take place on Monday, May 29 for the Memorial Day Holiday. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between the Missouri River Bridge and St. Charles Road – Crews will perform pavement repair work in the eastbound and westbound lanes between Route 763 (Rangeline Street) and St. Charles Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the week of May 22. Guardrail replacement will also take place the week of May 22. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2018.
Route 63 at Interstate 70 – Pavement repair and resurfacing continues. Crews will install pavement marking on the Route 63 Connector from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the week of May 22. One lane will be open through the work area.

Route Z between Route HH and Business Route 124 – Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, May 30 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route HH between Route B and Brown Station Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, May 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route H over Davis Creek, east of County Road 329 – Bridge replacement is underway. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.
Overnight Hours
Route 63 over the Katy Trail, north of Jefferson City – Bridge deck replacement in the southbound lanes is underway. Construction of crossovers continues the week of May 22. One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be open through the work area. The full project is scheduled for completion in September.
Daylight Hours
Route 63 between Outer Road 63 and County Road 394 - Roadway maintenance in the northbound lanes will take place Monday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 23. One northbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 94 between County Road 485 and County Road 4011 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, May 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route CC at Route O – Culvert pipe maintenance will take place on Tuesday, May 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route UU over Crows Fork Creek, east of County Road 101 – Bridge deck replacement is complete. Occasional daytime lane closures are possible the week of May 22 due to grading operations.
Camden County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route A over Dry Auglaize Creek, east of Linn Creek – Bridge deck replacement will begin on Monday, May 22. The road will be closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in early July.

Route 54 between the Niangua River Bridge and Route BB in Hickory County – Resurfacing and widening to a shared four-lane roadway continues. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late May.
Route 54 between Route 7 and Cecil Street – Pedestrian improvements continue. Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.
Route W between Route 54 and Geronimo Springs Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Cole County
Daylight Hours
Route 50/63 between Shamrock Road and the Osage River Bridge – Roadway resurfacing and intersection improvements are underway. Shamrock Road and Liberty Road on the south side of Route 50 and the median crossover at the intersection are closed. For Shamrock Road and Liberty Road traffic south of Route 50, access to Route 50 will be via Route M and the Route 50 and Route M interchange. Eastbound Route 50 traffic will access Shamrock Road on the north side of Route 50 by following eastbound Route 50 to the Militia Drive interchange and then taking westbound Route 50 to Shamrock Road. The intersection is scheduled to be open to traffic by June 1. The entire project is scheduled for completion in July.
Cooper County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route B over the Petite Saline Creek, south of Interstate 70 - Bridge deck replacement continues. The bridge is closed during the work. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.

Route 87 over Interstate 70 – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route M over Interstate 70 – Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route T between Route J and Hopewell Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route KK between Route B and Old Concord Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Crawford County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 19 over Crooked Creek, south of Edgar Road – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed during the work. Motorists are advised to use signed detour routes around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in early June.

Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route HH between Route 19 and Ollie Coleman Road – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route UU between Interstate 44 and Argo Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, May 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 44 Outer Road between Route F and the Phelps County line – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, May 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 44 Outer Road between Route H and Route UU – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, May 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Gasconade County

Route 19 over Second Creek, south of Brakemeyer Road – Bridge replacement is complete. The bridge was reopened to traffic on May 18.
Route EE over Dry Ford Creek, north of Bem Church Road – Bridge replacement is underway. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.

Route H between Route 19 and Route E – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route T between Smith Road and Tea Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Howard County
Daylight Hours
Route 5 between Route 40 and East Broadway Street – Roadway maintenance will take place on Wednesday, May 24. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 124 between Route 240 and Route B in Boone County – Chip sealing the roadway surface to extend pavement life is underway. Motorists should expect to encounter loose gravel on the road surface for several days after the seal coat is complete. At that time, crews will sweep the roadway. Motorists should expect delays and lower their speeds through the area. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route E between Route HH and County Road 304 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route P between Route 5 and Route 240 – Roadway maintenance will take place on Thursday, May 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route U between Route 3 and Route H – Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, May 30 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Laclede County
Daylight Hours
Route 5 between Sixth Street and Vance Street – Sidewalk and signal improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible through the work area.
Route E between Route 5 and Bluff Trail in Dallas County – Roadway maintenance will take place Wednesday, May 31 and Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route H between Route BB and Route JJ in Camden County – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route J between Palm Drive and Platte Drive – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 and Tuesday, May 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route W between Route A and Business Loop 44 – Roadway maintenance will take place Wednesday, May 24 through Tuesday, May 30. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Maries County

Route 68 over Coppedge Creek, east of Route H – Bridge deck rehabilitation continues. One lane is open, and a temporary traffic signal will guide traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in early June.
Route 42 between Route 28 and Route 63 – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Miller County

Route 52 over Route 54 – Bridge rehabilitation continues.
* Westbound traffic will be detoured around the work area. Crews will flag eastbound traffic through the work area.
* Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures on Route 54 are possible during the work. The eastbound and westbound entrance and exit ramps will remain open. The project is scheduled for completion in September.

Route FF between Lake Placid Road and Rush Drive – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Tuesday, May 23. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Osage County

Route T over the Maries River, north of County Road 526 – Bridge deck replacement is underway. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in early July.

Route B between Route 133 and Lorenzo Green Drive in Cole County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder addition will begin on Monday, May 22. Concrete repairs between Route M and Lorenzo Green Drive in Cole County are planned for the week of May 22. Grading operations will take place north of Meta the week of May 22. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Phelps County

Route 68 between Interstate 44 and Route 8 – Pedestrian improvements are underway. Occasional lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route F between Route 68 and County Road 3170 – Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 1. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route K between Route 63 and Route J – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, May 22 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
