JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have various single lane closures on both eastbound and westbound U.S. 24 between Route 291 and Route 7 beginning on Monday, May 22, at 8 a.m. until Friday, June 2, at 6 p.m. These lane closures are for milling of existing pavements and asphalt paving. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
