JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have multiple lane closures on the nights of Wednesday, May 24, Thursday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 30. These closures are for the removal of catwalks from sign trusses. All work is weather permitting.
- Lane closures scheduled on northbound I-435 west of Wornall to west of Holmes beginning on Wednesday, May 24, from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the following morning.
- Lane closures scheduled on northbound I-435 west of Holmes to west of Grandview Road beginning Thursday, May 25, from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the following morning.
- Lane closures scheduled on northbound I-435 west of Grandview Road to Gregory Blvd. on Tuesday, May 30, from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the following morning.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
