Taney County Routes J & JJ CLOSED for Short Periods June 5-8
Where: Taney County Routes J and JJ south of Kirbyville
When: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 5-8
What: MoDOT crews sealing both roads with a mixture of rock and oil
Traffic Impacts: Road CLOSED up to 20 minutes where crews are working. Drivers will have access to entrances and driveways on either side of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone. Drivers are urged to find alternate routes. No detour is planned.
A chip-seal is planned for these roads as an economical way to maintain and preserve the roadway. The treatments keep a road from deteriorating and extends its life.
Weather and/or work scheduling conflicts could postpone the project.
