HAPPENING TONIGHT: Night Closure Scheduled for Interchange at Main Street and I-49 Southbound Outer Road on June 1
GRANDVIEW – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting night work at the interchange of Main Street and Interstate 49 southbound outer road beginning on Thursday, June 1, at 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning for temporary pavement installation. The interchange will be COMPLETELY CLOSED from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. All work is weather permitting.
- I-49 southbound outer road will be closed and diverted to northbound I-49 outer road or westbound Main Street.
- Main Street will be closed at and diverted to the outer roads in both directions.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
