The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of June 5-16, 2017. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.

All Counties
Daylight Hours
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
Boone County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 70 between the Missouri River Bridge and St. Charles Road – Pavement repair, guardrail repair and resurfacing in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues.
* Guardrail replacement and improvement in the eastbound lanes will take place the week of June 5. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area. The entire project is scheduled for completion in spring 2018.
Route 63 at Interstate 70 – Pavement repair and resurfacing continues. Pavement marking installation on the Connector will take place the week of June 5. One lane in each direction will be open through the work area.
Daylight Hours
Route HH between Route B and Brown Station Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Callaway County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route H over Davis Creek, east of County Road 329 – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.
Overnight Hours
Route 63 over the Katy Trail, north of Jefferson City – Bridge deck replacement in the southbound lanes is underway.
* The southbound lanes of Route 63 will close at 4 a.m. on Monday, June 5. Southbound traffic will be shifted into one northbound lane. The head-to-head traffic will remain in place until mid-August. The entire project is scheduled for completion in September.

Route 54 over Richland Creek, east of County Road 201 – Bridge maintenance in the westbound lanes will take place Monday, June 12 and Tuesday, June 13. One westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 54 over the Fulton Branch Railroad, east of Route HH – Bridge maintenance in the eastbound lanes will take place Wednesday, June 14 and Thursday, June 15. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 54 over Business Route 54 – Bridge maintenance in the eastbound lanes will take place Wednesday, June 14 and Thursday, June 15. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 94 between County Road 485 and County Road 4011 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route CC at Route O – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route UU between Route O and Route JJ - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Camden County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route A over Dry Auglaize Creek, west of Richland – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in early July.
Route D over Bank Branch, south of Route 54 – Bridge replacement will begin on Thursday, June 15. The road will be closed during the work. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.
Overnight Hours
Route 54 between Route 7 and Cecil Street – Pedestrian improvements continue. Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.
Daylight Hours
Route 54 between the Niangua River Bridge and Route BB in Hickory County – Resurfacing and widening to a shared four-lane roadway continues. A pilot car and flaggers will guide motorists through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in October.
Route V between Route 54 and Route 7 – Roadway resurfacing will begin on Monday, June 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Cole County
Daylight Hours
Route 50/63 between Shamrock Road and the Osage River Bridge – Roadway resurfacing and intersection improvements continue. One lane will be open through the work area.
Routes J and M over Route 50 – Bridge replacement will begin on Monday, June 2. The road will be closed.
* The existing bridge will be removed beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday, June 2 and should be completed by 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 4. Traffic from Routes J and M will not have access to the Route 50/63 ramps. Traffic on Route 50/63 will be reduced to one lane and will be directed up and over the ramps to bypass the bridge removal work. Once the bridge has been removed, Route 50/63 traffic will be returned to its normal lanes and the ramps will be re-opened to Route J and M traffic. The bridge is scheduled to reopen in mid-August.
Cooper County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route B over the Petite Saline Creek, south of Interstate 70 - Bridge deck replacement continues. The bridge is closed during the work. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.

Route 87 between Route EE and Carey Street in Prairie Home – Roadside maintenance will take place Wednesday, June 7 and Thursday, June 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route M over Interstate 70 – Bridge maintenance will take place Wednesday, June 7 and Thursday, June 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Crawford County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 19 over Crooked Creek, south of Edgar Road – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed during the work. Motorists are advised to use signed detour routes around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in early June.
Overnight Hours
Interstate 44 between mile marker 202 and mile marker 204 – Concrete pavement repair in the westbound lanes will take place Monday, June 5 through Friday, June 9. One westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Daylight Hours
Route 8 between Route 19 and Route AA in Washington County – Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 19 between Route O and Route P – Pavement marking will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 49 between Route 19 and Route Y in Iron County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route V between Route 49 and Route Y – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route C and Route 49 in Iron County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route AA between Route 19 and Cherryville Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Interstate 44 Outer Road between Route H and Old Highway 66 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Dent County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 32 over Dry Valley Creek, east of County Road 4245 – Bridge replacement will begin the week of June 5.
* Crews will begin building a temporary bypass during the week of June 5. Minimal traffic impacts will take place. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.

Route CC between Route H and Route C in Texas County – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Gasconade County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route EE over Dry Fork Creek, north of Bem Church Road – Bridge replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-August.

Route 28 between Route Y and Baker Road – Chip sealing the roadway surface to extend pavement life will take place Tuesday, June 6 through Thursday, June 8. Motorists should expect to encounter loose gravel on the road surface for several days after the seal coat is complete. At that time, crews will sweep the roadway. Motorists should expect delays and lower their speeds through the area. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route T between Smith Road and Tea Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Howard County
Daylight Hours
Route 124 between Route 240 and Route B in Boone County – Chip sealing the roadway is complete. Striping operations will take place on Tuesday, June 6. This will be a moving operation at slow speeds. Motorists are advised to use caution in the work zone.
Route U between Route 3 and Route H – Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, June 5 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Laclede County
Overnight Hours
Interstate 44 over the Gasconade River, east of the Pulaski County line – Bridge maintenance in the westbound lanes will take place Sunday, June 11 and Monday, June 12. One westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Daylight Hours
Route 5 between Sixth Street and Vance Street – Sidewalk and signal improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are possible through the work area.
Maries County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 68 over Coppedge Creek, east of Route H – Bridge deck rehabilitation continues. One lane is open, and a temporary traffic signal will guide traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in late June.
Route 68 over Lanes Fork, west of County Road 439 – Bridge rehabilitation will begin on Thursday, June 8. The road will be closed during the work. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in late August.
Miller County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 52 over Route 54 – Bridge rehabilitation continues.
* Westbound traffic will be detoured around the work area. Crews will flag eastbound traffic through the work area.
* Occasional eastbound and westbound lane closures on Route 54 are possible during the work. The eastbound and westbound entrance and exit ramps will remain open. The project is scheduled for completion in September.

Route FF between Route 54 and Route A in Cole County – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Tuesday, June 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route MM between Bittle Circle Road and Devonshire Road – Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, June 12 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Moniteau County
Daylight Hours
Route D between Route O and Route U – Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, June 6 through Wednesday, June 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Morgan County
Daylight Hours
Route 52 between Route 5 and Route Y in Miller County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder work continues. One lane will be open, and flagging crews and a pilot car will guide traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in July.
Route 52 between Fairground Road and West View Drive – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, June 5 and Tuesday, June 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route O between Route 5 and Dunwandrin Road – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, June 12 and Tuesday, June 13. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route FF between Lake Placid Road and Rush Drive – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Wednesday, June 7 and Thursday, June 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Osage County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route T over the Maries River, north of County Road 526 – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is closed. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in early July.

Route B between Route 133 and Lorenzo Green Drive in Cole County – Roadway resurfacing and shoulder addition continues.
* Concrete repairs between Route M and Lorenzo Green Drive are planned for the week of June 5. Grading will take place between Route E and the Osage River. The entire project is scheduled for completion in November.
Phelps County
Daylight Hours
Route 68 between Interstate 44 and Route 8 – Pedestrian improvements continue. Occasional lane closures are likely. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Interstate 44 Outer Road (Arlington Road) between I-44 and Sugar Tree Road - Roadway maintenance will take place Monday, June 5 through Thursday, June 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Pulaski County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 7 over the Gasconade River, north of Rustler Lane – Bridge deck replacement continues. The road is closed during the work. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in mid-July.

Interstate 44 over the Big Piney River, east of Route 28 – Bridge maintenance in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place Monday, June 12 and Tuesday, June 13. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Interstate 44 over Hooker Creek, west of the Phelps County line – Bridge maintenance in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place Tuesday, June 13 and Wednesday, June 14. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Interstate 44 over Roubidoux Creek, west of Waynesville – Bridge maintenance in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place Wednesday, June 14 and Thursday, June 15. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
