JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will have multiple lane closures along Interstate 435 beginning Thursday, June 8, at 8 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 10. These lane closures are for the removal of catwalks on sign trusses near the Route 210 interchange. All work is weather permitting.
- Northbound I-435 will have multiple lane closures between mile markers 57 and 55 beginning Thursday, June 8, from 8 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. the following morning.
- Southbound I-435 will have multiple lane closures between mile markers 54 and 56 beginning Thursday, June 8, at 11 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. the following morning.
- Northbound I-435 will have multiple lane closures between mile markers 56.5 and 52.7 beginning Friday, June 9, at 7 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. the following morning.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
