Work to Make Routes F, TT and MM Safer Starts Monday

Routes F, TT, and MM in Camden County will be resurfaced and some portions of the routes will be widened under a safety improvement project that starts Monday.

Two-foot shoulders will be placed on the portions of Routes F, TT and MM that run from Route 5 to the Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge. Material for the widening work will begin to be placed on Monday, June 12.

In addition, Route F will be resurfaced from its intersection with Route TT to the end of Route F. Route TT will be resurfaced from the intersection of Route MM to the Shawnee Bend Access. The entire length of Route MM will be resurfaced, from Route TT to the Community Bridge.

The paving work is scheduled to begin July 10. One lane of each route will be open, and flaggers and a pilot car will lead drivers through the work zones. The work around the bridge’s toll plaza will take place at night to keep traffic disruptions to a minimum.

Message boards have been posted to advise travelers of the work. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall.
