Revised: Work will cause ramp closure along I-435 and 24 Highway in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY – Due to inclement weather, The Missouri Department of Transportation has rescheduled last night’s full depth pavement repair work along I-435 and 24 Highway. Crews will close the off-ramp from I-435 northbound to Route 24 (24 Highway) from 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 16 through 1 a.m. Saturday, June 17. Originally, the work was planned for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 15 to 1 a.m. Friday, June 16. All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
